Terms and conditions of Yacht Voyage

About

Please read them and if you have any queries do not hesitate to contact us. These terms and conditions are in effect once we have accepted your booking either via phone, email or in person.

General Rules:

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the departure time of your trip, as we will consider the trip started on the exact time you booked for our boats.
Footwear are to be removed prior to boarding our vessels (except fishing boats) for maintenance and safety reasons.
We require the customer to call us 48hrs before in order to confirm that the trip is going ahead and confirm departure times in case of any changes in schedule.

Number of Passengers:

Maximum number of passengers must be observed and will vary on the size of our yachts you are boarding to. Excess passenger/s will be strictly offloaded as per DMCA’s rules and regulations for safety reasons.

Bookings and Payments:

All bookings require a 50% advance payment to be held by us as security deposit upon confirmation. Balance payment can be done prior or on the day of the trip. We will not make any changes to your bookings unless specified or in accordance with our terms and conditions.
All trips are refundable if we cancel or reschedule the trip.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and we only reschedule gift voucher bookings (due to availability).
The person making the booking is responsible for the total payment of the organized trip and will be coordinating with the captain or admin for further queries.

Discount Policy:

Discounts can only be applied to regular booking rates.
Only one discount offer can be applied to a booking.
Two or more different discounts cannot be used on top of each other. Discounts are also not applicable to ongoing promotions/reduced rates.

Cancellations and Refunds:

In case of cancellations, we require a minimum of 72hour notice. Otherwise, 50% of your deposit will be forfeited.
In the event of a cancellation from Yacht Voyage, you will be notified at least 3 days before and you may nominate a full refund of deposit or transfer your deposit to an alternative date.
If a person becomes unwell and requests to be returned back to shore, then no refund will be given and it is also up to Skipper’s discretion whether or not to return to port.
Yacht Voyage will not be held liable for any loss of personal belongings on board and indirect costs incurred by booking a charter with us.

Weather:

All charters are subject to suitable weather conditions (the decision is made at the discretion of the skipper) and we reserve the right to cancel any trip due to bad weather (even at short notice).
We require the customer to call us at least 24hours before in order to confirm the weather conditions.
In an instance where the weather may turn unexpectedly it is at the discretion of the Skipper as to whether any, a full, or part refund is given.

Safety Brief:

A safety brief is given on board before departure.
All customers must declare any pre-existing medical conditions or any medication prior to booking and departure (as some people may require special attention).
We have the right to ask any customer to wear a life jacket at any time.
All children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult (and they must wear a life jacket at all times) while children below 3 years old must stay inside the saloon at all times.
Those who are unable to swim are asked to wear a life jacket at all times.
A waiver will be handed out to be signed by the organizer prior to departure.

Customer Behaviour:

It is required that all customers behave in a safe and respectful manner to all staff, other customers and our property.
If we find that there has been loss or damage to our equipment or vessel due to negligence or unruly behavior then the customer will be liable for replacement or repair of the item.
The Skipper reserves the right to cancel a trip and payment forfeiture if unruly or unsafe behavior is displayed.

Alcohol:

Alcohol is allowed onboard the vessel, however, responsible consumption of alcohol is to be adhered to.
The Skipper reserves the right to: refuse alcohol onboard if he deems it to be unsafe, refuse a passenger onboard the vessel if they are under the influence of alcohol and can cancel the trip with no refund.
