Rent a boat Lagoon450 in Croatia. Price for holidays at the seaside 2019

Our yacht base is located in Adriatic coast in Montenegro. It causes some bureaucracy to go to Croatia but we can help with it!

According to the restrictions which were imposed by Maritime Ministry of Croatia in May 2017 all the incoming foreign charters should be registered at the Customs terminal in the port of departure and arrival. Also they should pay the tax based on the quantity of the days spent in Croatian waters.

Yacht Voyage can organize all the paperwork and procedures! We kindly ask our clients to plan their visit to Croatia beforehand and inform us about the ports of departure and arrival and quantity of the days which they plan to stay in the country in order we can prepare all the documents in time.

There are several options of departure and arrival ports. Total amount of additional fee is based on the sum of Customs tax and our expenses on yacht delivery to/from Tivat. Below you can find the pricelist for all the possible routes:

   350 euro per boat + 60 euro per day per person
2. Tivat - Cavtat (Croatia)
   650 euro per boat + 60 euro per day per person
3. Tivat - Dubrovnik (Croatia)
   700 euro per boat + 60 euro per day per person
4. Cavtat (Croatia) – Tivat (Montenegro)
   750 euro per boat + 60 euro per day per person
5. Dubrovnik (Croatia) – Tivat (Montenegro)
   800 euro per boat + 60 euro per day per person
6. Cavtat - Cavtat (Croatia)
   1050 euro per boat + 60 euro per day per person
7. Dubrovnik – Dubrovnik (Croatia)
   1150 euro per boat + 60 euro per day per person

Holidays at the seaside can help you to relax, have fun and feel healthier. Always remember that boats are a very technical thing and could be broken. If it is damaged by your fault we will charge the cost of its reparation from caution deposit. In most cases nothing happens and we return the total amount of the deposit after check-out.

The other option is insurance from damage which costs 400 euro. It could help you to save your money. In case of damage you pay approximately 4 times less if you have bought insurance beforehand. Be advised that if nothing happened we return you deposit which is 700 euro but the cost of insurance itself is not refundable.

The caution deposit should be paid after check-in, when you check it’s conditional and equipment according to the list provided by us. If you hire skipper we advise you to involve him too into this process. Also it would be better to ask him about his personal skipper’s insurance. You should not pay for his mistakes!

Yacht Voyage will repair the damage of the most important parts of the yacht during 48 hours. We will send you the specialists with necessary equipment and parts. This kind of service should be paid by the part who is responsible for damage. The main sources are you deposit, funds of Yacht Voyage and maybe skipper’s insurance.

Our main business is Yacht rental of Lagoon450. It could be rented with or without skipper (bareboat). The second option is possible if you can provide valid skipper’s license which allows to navigate the boat at the distance 12 miles from the coast and also after the small practical test. Here you can find the approval form of skipper’s license. You should fill it in and send to the manager. Yacht Voyage provide additional and in some cases it is even obligatory services. Obligatory services include the things which you definitely need during your trip – linen, towels, outboard engine, gas and final cleaning before the check-out.

We provide you the contract where is specified all the conditions. Our manager can answer all your questions and explain you the rules but it is better to read the contract beforehand.

Main points of the contract:

• Yacht model.
• Price and caution deposit.
• Dates of the charter. Usually it is from Saturday to Saturday.
• Arrival and Departure port.
• Time of check-in and check-out. It is very important moment because we need the time to prepare the yacht for the next charter. You should arrive for check-in on Saturday at 17:00, then on Friday at 17:00 you should be back to the marina and make check-out at 9:00 on next Saturday.
• List of the documents of all the persons on board which you should provide to the manager.
• Rules concerning the fuel and sewage tanks. You receive your Lagoon450 with full fuel tank and empty sewage tanks. It should be delivered back to us in the same condition - with full fuel tank and empty sewage tanks. You can find fuel almost in all marinas and sewage tanks can be emptied out of buffer zone (skipper should know it but it is always better to remember him). If this rule is not respected the fine will be imposed.

Domestic animals are prohibited on board by our rules.

Payment terms: 50% - after contract signing, 50% - 30 days before the charter date.

Discounts: usually we provide early booking discounts until 31st of December for the next season. You can about the discount on the moment of request, in some cases we provide additional discounts to our clients, especially to repeat ones or for the long-term bookings.

Yacht Voyage price includes only the price of bareboat charter. The company is responsible for providing the yacht in appropriate condition in agreed time, date and place. We guaranty that the yacht is totally equipped for navigation in the sea and that all the extra services (obligatory and by request) will be provided.

It is important to understand that yacht Voyage is a charter company which owns sailing catamarans, so we don’t provide catering, visa service, transfers and ticket booking. We don’t provide any personnel for yachts – skippers, cooks, hostess etc. So it is not included in our price. All the moorings are also paid by paid client.

We can recommend professional skippers, hostess and help with any other service to our clients in Montenegro. We will be glad to help you with any request and consult about local prices. Anyway yacht Voyage is not responsible for the quality of the service provide by the third parties.

What’s special in motor-sailing catamaran Lagoon450?

Motor-sailing catamaran Lagoon450 is a house or hotel on water, it depends what you prefer. Everybody who have rented catamaran before will definitely choose Lagoon 450 again. You ask why? The main reason is the balance between its price and comfort. This boat absolutely costs its price. The length of the catamaran is almost 14 meters, width is about 8 meters which allows more that 100 sq.m. of space! Everybody who thinks that it the same like monohull yacht makes a big mistake. Here is a enough space for 12 persons: 4 double cabins, 2 single cabins and double sofa in salon. Each double cabin is equipped with A/C, big double-bed, wardrobes. There is a toilet next to each cabin with separate shower. Toilets are electric and you can like it. There is a living room with a kitchen in the central salon where you can find sofas, table, gas stove with oven, microwave oven, sink, 2 friges, TV with DVD player, acoustic system, A/C, 4 different modes of lightening, internal yacht control tower, additional storage capacities. Water distiller and additional water tanks for 350 liter. This water should not be used for drinking. There is a net in the front of the deck between the hulls; here you can find comfortable and soft sun-beds. There is big sofe in front of the salon. There are additional sun-beds in the middle part of the catamaran on the top of the salon. The best place to have a rest is behind the central part of the salon. There are big table, sofas and fridge. Everything is under the roof and can be protected from the wind with removable tent. There are spaces with deck’s showers on back parts of both hulls. It is very convenient to go down to the see from these points, both parts are equipped with disappearing stares. If there are children on board, we can offer you special safety net for catamaran. Motor-sailing catamaran Lagoon450 has full safety equipment according to the high standards of British Register and it is always under the control supervisory authorities and technical service. There is a life-saving float for 12 persons, motor boat, life vests and rings, first-aid set. The boat is also equipped with gas detector. The yacht could be easily navigated by one person, there is autopilot and other navigating equipment installed. Wi-Fi can be provided by additional payment. Because of the built-in electricity generator there is 220V electricity on yacht even in the sea.

What to do in Croatia?

Beautiful nature, thermal springs, a lot of historical spots and places of interest and of course local cuisine.

Clean and safety beaches with a high level of service. But what the reason to go to the beach if you have your personal spot on yacht! If you want cool parties go to the Island of Pag, which is also called Croatian Ibiza. This is a modern place with vibrant atmosphere with bars, restaurants and other spots))

Here is a route suggestion for a week in Croatia - Šibenik, Dubrovnik, Split, Istria, Hvar, Brac, Krk and Korcula islands. For somebody who is interested in history and eco-tourism Croatia provides a lot of opportunities - ancient castles, fortresses and cities, monasteries, national parks and lakes. We highly recommend you Lake of St. Maria on the island of Mlet, which has its own small island inside!

Croatian cuisine suggests a wide range of tasty meat and seafood, Paški cheese and grapes on the island of Pag. If you like Turkish or Hungarian type of cuisine you will definitely like Croatian one too. All the food are very high quality and ecological. It is better to taste meat in the central part of the country, and of course seafood is more popular nearby the seaside. There is an influence of Italian cuisine in some coastal areas. You should try pršut – jerked pork, Paški cheese, kulen – jerked sausage with spices, Visovačka begavica – lamb with sour milk. We also recommend you to try fish stew - brodet. And of course try local wine.

Catamaran should be booked for 7 days, from Saturday to Saturday. We provide the whole catamaran and don’t make bookings for separate cabins or beds. You should arrive for check-in on Saturday at 17:00, then on Friday at 17:00 you should be back to the marina and make check-out at 9:00 on next Saturday. Fuel tank must be full and sewage tanks are empty. If during the check-out we notice some damages the cost of reparation will be charged from caution deposit. It is possible to decrease caution deposit by buying insurance. You are free to choose the route you want. Yacht Voyage is responsible only for providing the bareboat catamaran.

Budget for holidays in Croatia. How much should you plan to spend in Croatia?

Medium price for Lagoon450 in Croatia for a week will be 6500 EUR, prices vary during the season from 3300 EUR in low season to 9300 EUR in high season.

Obligatory expenses on the border with Montenegro will be about 4350 EUR.

You will spend about 200 EUR for a week for fuel.

Skipper’s service - 980 EUR for a week.

Additional expenses - 50 EUR.

Meal - 200 EUR per person.

Let’s divide the sum we receive among 10 persons and we see that it is about 1200 EUR per person per week.

Let’s add the ticket price ~ 180 EUR.

So the final cost for one person will be 1400 EUR.

Total budget for Lagoon 450 in Croatia is 14000EUR for 10 persons for 10 days (caution deposit is not included).

Now let’s compare it with usual holidays when you stay in hotel: double room in the 5 stars hotel for 7 days will cost about 800 EUR. Additionaly you will pay for your lunch about 20 EUR per day, and if also count breakfast and dinner we will already receive 60 EUR per day per for two persons. In total you will spend about 400 EUR only for food. Let’s consider excursions, beach entrance etc and it will be at least 600 EUR. So we get 900 EUR per person. The same cost of the ticket 180 EUR. So it is more than 1000 EUR per person or more than 10000 EUR for 10 persons.

Yes, it is a little bit less in terms of money but in the same time you will have much less comfort, emotions, places to see, and impact on health. So it worth to try to have your holidays on the board of yacht!
