This city should be visited at least because it isn't similar to all others. Historically the great variety of different cultures had impact on its architecture. And the nature arranged it unusually - almost vertically. Thus Herceg Novi is one of the most solar cities of Montenegro; therefore here more than 100 types of subtropical and tropical plants and a set of mimosa types grow. By the way in February the annual Mimosa festival is held here, which lasts the whole month. To admire this beauty it isn't necessary to go anywhere, it is enough to leave a catamaran in a city marine in a center of the city and it is easy to walk along the embankment and city park. No wonder that Herceg Novi is called the Botanical garden of Montenegro. And also you should visit the monastery of Savin which celebrated its 1000 years. It is said that this is the best sample of baroque in the Adriatic coast.
