The main sight of Kotor, certainly, is its Old City and fortifications over it. The constructed by the principle of Venice and Amsterdam, Old Kotor is one of three cities of Europe, built directly on water. Narrow labyrinths of its small streets conduct to several churches, the most ancient of which is a church of Saint Luke of the 13th century. On the mountain over the city there is a fortification that once denoting its boundary. Now on these walls it is possible to rise to the very top, from where opens a view of the most part of the Bay of Kotor. Old Kotor is entered in the list of the world heritage of UNESCO.
